What is the most trending thing now?

Thanks god gif. There’s a lot of discussion about what is happening in our society and whether it’s good or bad . One trend that has people talking a lot has to do with Thanks God gifs. A thanks god gif is when you take an image of someone giving thanks to god and then add in words/graphics as if they are saying something else, but with a thank you at the end. They are often satirical, critical, or subversive. It can be private or public and used as a form of satire.

Thanks God gifs are something I’ve been seeing a lot on Facebook and Instagram. People seem to be sharing them with friends and family, and they are almost always popular amongst the political right. The most recent example is calling out James Comey for his thank you to God. That’s not the problem though, it’s the same pic that people have been sharing with this phrase ever since Donald Trump won in November 2016 (It has since been deleted). Facebook has since taken down many thanks god gifs , but they’re still around. If you google thanks god memes , you’ll find various graphic images from Twitter users including many thanking their god for Trump winning the presidency .

Is Thanks God Gif The Most Trending Thing Now :

1. Thanks God Gifs Have Been Around For A While

Thanks god memes have been around for a long time. Some of the first ones were released during the 2016 election, but it didn’t get as much traction then. The problem is that I’m sure these anti-Trump thanks god gifs were shared by people who support him and if so , they weren’t on the right Facebook page or Instagram account.

2. Thanks God Gifs Are A Conservative Trend

If you look at all of the most popular thanks god gifs, they’re either sharing them amongst themselves or are being shared by conservative pages that talk about their political beliefs . Thanks God Gifs are mostly a conservative trend and the people who are sharing them are talking to other conservatives.

The problem is that Americans think it’s bad to be political or too political on social media, but that’s not the case. We need progressive and conservative people being vocal so that everyone can see what they believe in and how they want to change this country. You can’t criticize something if you don’t even know what it is, and thanks god gifs, memes , and satire get people talking about politics.

3. Thanks God Gifs Are Usually Religiously Satirical

The most common thanks god gifs seem to be ones where people are being critical of the religious right. Some are actually thanking their god for being an atheist and not believing in religious nonsense , but that’s rare. I don’t think atheists thanks god gifs make sense because it’s mostly a religious thing, so they’re mainly conservative religious people who are sharing them on social media.

4. Thanks God Gifs Are Getting People Talking About A Trend That Was Around Already

Thanks God gifs have been around for a while now, and I’m sure many people have seen them at some point on Facebook or Instagram . A lot of these thanks god gifs are being shared in an attempt to make people understand what they are, or to simply get a reaction from people. People are also commenting on them as if they know what’s going on and that’s wrong too.

Commenting on a thanks god gif with something like “oh this is amazing” or “how did you make this” is just saying that you’re not being critical of it and you don’t even understand the concept. If you don’t understand it, then don’t comment on it. If the admins at Facebook and Instagram want to take down posts, then their sites can ban people for saying something negative about them. You can have a different opinion, but you can’t be contrary to what someone is trying to say and then comment something like “wow, this is amazing”, because you’re not being critical of things that matter.

5. Thanks God Gifs Are A Way To Create Social Change By Using Satire

Thanks god gifs are social change because people are making important issues into something so small, but without changing the words of the original image . Thanks god gifs make people laugh and stop being so serious about everything. They’re a way for people to poke fun at each other and give their opinions on things without being mean-spirited or politically correct .
